Cart Fabrication Process
By listening to each customer's
concerns and incorporating their needs with our design and manufacturing
experience, we believe we can deliver today's top quality concession carts
for any application.
All carts begin with a sturdy steel tube framework, which
is powdercoated to protect the metal from the elements.
Our trailer model carts have a 1'' x 2'' x 1/8'' rectangular
tubing frame, with a slightly lighter gauge tubing completing the body
of the cart - giving it a rigid, yet light weight construction. The floor
and wheel wells are made of aluminum. The exterior body of the cart is
clad with a 22 ga 304 # 4 stainless steel and the countertop, fridge and
doors are of 18 ga 304 # 4 stainless steel.
The canopy is a light steel frame covered with a durable marine
vinyl designed to stand up to harsh weather conditions.
The castor cart frame is all of the light gauge steel tubing
and then skinned with a 18 ga satin coat which is then covered with a stainless
steel exterior or laminate. Again like the mobile the counter, doors and
shelves are of 18 ga stainless steel.
Graphics are easily applied to the stainless steel skin
or to the vinyl canopy covering. We can have the graphics made and installed
with artwork supplied by the customer.
We use appliances that are all easily obtainable in the
United States and Canada. With the exception of the cooking or beverage
equipment, most parts are available through marine and RV dealers.
Being a Canadian manufacturer we understand concerns about
the borders. The cost of duties and brokerage are all included in the
price of the carts and we will arrange all the paperwork for the cart
to clear customs.
Freight is the responsibility of the customer, but we will
source out the best rate possible through our shipping companies and will
also handle those arrangements.
We meet or exceed most health codes
but it is up to the purchaser to make sure that they have checked with their
local health to ensure the cart they have ordered meets requirements for
their area
Manufacturing time is approximately 2 - 8 weeks depending
on in-house stock and orders currently in our system. Apollo Carts cannot
be held responsible for late deliveries due to lead time with outside
equipment manufacturers; .i.e. Espresso Machine deliveries and other
major cart components that are not manufactured directly by Apollo Carts.
